I agree, the nurse outfit wasn't doing it for me

I didn't play any of the other ones apart from BR 3, after that they didnt have the good grace t stay on the playstation, so I didn't see them much there after.

But yeah BR Alice still takes the cake

Id say with good reason, as the game failed to innovate after BR 2, 3 was pretty samey and i didn't liek the 3d rendered character vs screens compared to the much better 2d illustrations.
pretty much, the game lost its bite.

The first one is still resolutely one of my favorite beat em ups on the playstation, its just after 2 it never evolved pasted that, it just got more wierd.

other beat em ups continued cos they tried different things and this franchise as content to just keep milking its games, and inevitably declined to the point of non existence.

I could see alot of promise and potential from the first two games, but they just didnt do anything new or interesting.

But anyway, i like hte character's before they completely sold out and got totally rubbish american accents, lost all the flavour

Anyway, enough of my rants, its still a great game

Do you know Rival schools? It was on the psx too and it's my favorate fighting game of all time. I love everything, the story, the gameplay, the characters.

But capcom never made another ( except one on dreamcast ) it's a shame that the better games back in the days doesn't exist no more.

Yup, i did play Rival schools, and also the sequel which didn't make it over here, which was little more than an update

I didn't get a chance to play the third one on dreamcast, i did know you could do 3 on 3 matches in that.

yeah, the uniqueness of rival schools puts it in my top ten on PSx too.
the uniqueness of the game such as the mini games like baseball, tag team fights, an interwoven evolution story mode were all very new, and this was when i was only just being exposed to anime, so it was O.O

Yeah, i still wanna own that game

it cost quite a bit , but i am getting back into soul blade and soul Calibur 3 right now

But i know what you mean. At least Capcom are going strong with their fighting games, like MVC3 coming and street fighter x tekken, so the crazyness is still there
